Equestrian Fencing with Rough Cuts Fencing

Finding the right fencing for a horse property means thinking beyond just boundaries. You're considering safety, containment, and the daily wear that comes with horses leaning, rubbing, and pushing against a fence line. It's important to work with a fence company that understands equine behavior, so you end up with a fence that keeps your herd safe and holds up to years of everyday use.

How it works

From first call to finished job

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about your project

Fence type, rough length and height, the gates you need and your address. A photo or a quick sketch of the yard helps.

  2. Step 2

    Measure and plan

The fence line is measured and walked with you: corners, gates, slopes, trees and anything in the way, plus property lines and city or HOA rules.

  3. Step 3

    A clear quote

You get a quote that spells out the materials, height, length, gates and how the posts will be set, so it's easy to compare.

  4. Step 4

    Installation

Underground lines are marked through 811 before digging, then posts are set and panels, rails and gates go up. The site is cleaned up when the work is done.

FAQ

Equestrian Fencing: common questions

How do I get an estimate for my fence project?

To get a free estimate scheduled fill out our 'request a free estimate' form that can be found on the home or contact page. Once we receive your request we will reach out to the phone number provided to get a time scheduled on our calendars to come out and take a look.

When can you start my project?

We work on a first come, first served basis therefore if you decide to hire us, we will place you on our schedule when we receive your deposit and signed contract. We cannot give exact dates but can give you a rough estimate on what week we can start your project. We then will keep you updated and will contact you 1 -2 weeks prior to starting.

Will the price change after the job has started?

The price won't change from the original contract unless you opt for additional work or something was missed in the original proposal. There are cases where unforseen circumcises do arise and we will notify you and won't move forward without your authorization. We will never bill you for work you didn't authorize.

Do your free estimates / quotes expire?

The estimates provided to you are valid for 4 weeks. This is due to the ever changing price of materials. If you want to get on our schedule for an estimate that is over 4 weeks old we will provide you with an updated version. This will show if there was a change in prices of materials or not.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We send all estimates/proposals, contracts, and invoices through out project management platform. You are able to pay for your project through credit or debit, bank transfer, or cash.

Are your licensed and insured?

Rough Cuts Fencing is a Limited Liability Corporation with a current business and contractor license.
